Mission Statement
This collaborative initiative will build research and graduate training collaborations between Canadian and Chinese universities and institutes in the area of clean energy sources and systems, specifically including Renewable Energy Technology, Green Vehicles, Electric Drives & Battery Technology, Smart Grid Technology, and Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Technology. The primary objective of the Canada-China Clean Energy Initiative is to support collaborations between leading academic researchers, policy-makers and business leaders in China and Canada for addressing the challenges and opportunities associated with the development of new forms of clean energy systems and technology.

The Second Workshop
The Second Workshop was held during May 13-14, 2011, at University of Victoria in Victoria, BC, Canada.

The Third Workshop/Symposium was organized by the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It was held in Beijing from April 28-29, 2012.
