Research at IESVic is firmly grounded in real-world issues. Its members are committed to addressing the critical energy issues facing society, and indeed, their work has led to the development of key technologies for sustainable energy systems.

A multidisciplinary, big-picture approach

IESVic members conduct this work using a source-to-systems approach. They examine the big picture, from energy extraction to service provision.

And they do it all through a multidisciplinary lens, encouraging and supporting cross-over and communication between fields.

This unique approach has helped IESVic build a solid reputation as a source of expertise in energy-based research. Indeed, when industry leaders have energy systems questions, they come to IESVic for answers.
